Most barbells at this price point are hand-knurled, resulting in an inconsistent finish. Our Intro barbells are knurled using a computer-controlled machining process. This results in the most uniform and consistent knurling possible which means a more comfortable and reliable grip and better performance for you!
If you're doing Olympic lifts with bumpers around 100kg or less, these bars will survive being dropped. For slow, compound lifts like squats or deadlifts they're good to 220kg. If you're planning to consistently lift above 220kg, we suggest you upgrade to our 15kg/20kg Hybrid, 20kg Powerlifting, or 15kg/20kg Needle-bearing barbell.

Awesome buy! love my new barbell! very well packed and delivered. The barbell has awesome grip and barbell is very even not uneven in terms of weight. Dropped a couple of times with bumper plates and takes the drop well.

Fantastic quality for the price, especially when compared to $300+ barbells that big chains sell. Awesome second bar for my home gym for accessory movements and for when training with my partner. Branded end caps really add to the feel of quality. Great medium knurl, not aggressive on the throat for cleans but plenty enough to grip.
