Resistance Bands

Buying guide

Resistance Bands buying guide

Resistance bands are sold individually and in sets, but the format matters as much as the stated resistance. This collection includes long bands, a hip-band set and a suspension trainer. Start with the movement and connection you need, then choose the length, resistance and anchoring requirements that suit it.

Match the band to the job

A band used to add resistance and one used to assist a movement have different selection priorities. Read the stated range and how it is measured, because tension changes as the band stretches. Product size names and colours can be useful within a range, but are not universal ratings across brands.

  • For assistance, match the listed band specification to the exercise setup
  • For resisted movements, think about tension through the full movement
  • Choose a set when several exercises or users need different bands

Make the connection part of the choice

Long loop bands and hip bands are not interchangeable for every movement. A suspension trainer is a separate strap-based system with its own installation requirements. Check the material, dimensions and permitted uses of the item you choose. Use an appropriate attachment point where required, keep bands clear of sharp edges and inspect them as directed before use.

Frequently asked questions

Which resistance band should I choose for pull-up assistance?

Use the manufacturer's resistance information and your existing assisted setup as a reference. Bodyweight alone does not determine the right band because the attachment, stretch and movement also matter. Compare options within the same range.

Should I buy individual bands or a set?

An individual band makes sense when you know the specification you need. A set provides several options for different exercises or users. Check the included sizes so you do not duplicate bands you already own.

From mobility exercises to strength training, discover the immense versatility of resistance bands with our range of individual bands and package bands sets.
