Sleds
Sleds buying guide
Choose a sled setup around the space it will use and how you want resistance to feel in a session. This collection brings together the Solid Strength Power Sled, Xebex XT3 options, a curved treadmill with a resistance-sled function and sled accessories. Compare complete equipment separately from add-ons.
Choose the format before the accessory
A travelling sled needs a usable lane and a suitable surface; a treadmill-based option has a different footprint and movement setup. Decide whether your sessions involve pushing, pulling or both, then read the specific model’s resistance and attachment details. Do not assume every item listed provides the same movements.
- Confirm surface requirements and the clear length available for a travelling sled
- Review the resistance system, loading method and any weights needed
- Separate the sled itself from optional ropes, consoles and other accessories
Measure the whole working lane
Include room to start, turn or change direction, attach a rope and move other equipment out of the lane. Decide where weights and accessories will sit between uses. For a stationary machine, check access around it and any assembly requirements. Surface compatibility, permitted loading and maintenance are model-specific, so use the selected product’s instructions rather than applying one sled’s specifications to the entire range.
Frequently asked questions
Can any sled be used on any gym floor?
Do not assume so. Check the sled manufacturer's surface requirements alongside the flooring guidance. The suitable setup depends on the sled design, load and surface; a product being listed in this category does not establish compatibility.
Does a sled console or rope include the sled?
Check the listing carefully. This category includes accessories as well as complete equipment. Confirm the named model, supplied parts and compatibility before buying a console or pulling rope for an existing sled.
