Worm Bags
Worm Bags buying guide
A worm bag is shared equipment, so team size matters as much as total load. The Solid Strength Worm offers two-person and four-person options. Plan how the team will move together, where the bag will be used and how it will be filled before the first session.
Match the worm to the team
Choose the version around the number of people who will train together. Leave space for each person to approach, lift and put down the bag without nearby equipment getting in the way. If you’re preparing for a particular event, compare its published equipment requirements with the product details rather than assuming any worm will match.
- Confirm the selected team-size option
- Check overall length and the room needed for planned movements
- Agree on the intended load and fill arrangement before setup
Prepare the fill and storage in advance
The Solid Strength Worm is supplied unassembled and unfilled. Its internal fill bags allow different sections to carry different loads, so planning the distribution is part of preparing the equipment. Use the materials and assembly method described on the product page. Budget for fill separately, and decide how the assembled bag will be moved and stored between sessions without obstructing walkways.
Frequently asked questions
Does the worm bag come ready filled?
No. The product is supplied unassembled and unfilled, with fill purchased separately. Follow its filling and closure instructions and check the assembled weight before introducing it to the team's session.
Should a worm's total weight be divided equally between users?
Do not assume equal weight per person. Internal fill distribution and each person's position affect the setup. Confirm the intended configuration, team size and any event-specific requirements when preparing the bag.
