These plates do a good job
Although we aren't using the plates for weight lifting, they've been put through some tough paces by using them as ballast in a floating device!! They emerged from underwater testing completely unscathed, no rust etc. So the rubber coating works and metal centre ring (rubber wouldn't survive on a bar there) looks to be stainless steel. These are good quality weights.
