a must for serious training
Training for the long haul involves progressions, after all it is not called Progressive Resistance Exercise for no reason, and if you are using percentage based training and you new load is 80.75kg you never want to round down but the round up maybe too great a jump, problem solved solid strengths fractional plates are the answer, excellent manufacturing colour coded and ready for your training progress

These are great when you are reaching the end of your weight range and a 2.5kg step is too much ie DB flys
