Black barbells have been extremely popular for home and commercial gym spaces, so we’ve used a high-grade black chrome coating for the shaft and a QPQ (Quench-Polish-Quench) coating on the sleeves to get the sleek black look so many people want to see! The black chrome coating offers excellent corrosion resistance — ensuring your barbell maintains its pristine look even after rigorous use. This coating also offers a smooth, yet grippy surface designed to enhance your lifting experience. The QPQ coating on the sleeves is made from a specialised heat-treatment process followed by polishing and finished with a quenching procedure that creates a hard, wear-resistant surface. The QPQ treatment significantly increases the sleeve's durability against impacts and abrasions, common in heavy lifting and frequent plate changes.

These Carbon Black Barbells combine outstanding tensile strength, precision knurling, and an impressive load capacity.
