About the Solid Strength 15kg Intro Olympic Barbell V2 (Womens)

Since 2010, we've sold 100's of these barbells to commercial gyms, CrossFit affiliates, high schools, garage gyms, and more as entry level bars. While these are not the ideal barbell for Olympic lifting, only serious lifters will feel the difference.

Most barbells at this price point are hand-knurled, resulting in an inconsistent finish. Our Intro barbells are knurled using a computer-controlled machining process. This results in the most uniform and consistent knurling possible which means a more comfortable and reliable grip and better performance for you!

If you're doing Olympic lifts with bumpers around 80kg or less, these bars will survive being dropped. For slow, compound lifts like squats or deadlifts they're good to 150kg. If you're planning to consistently lift above 150kg, we suggest you upgrade to our 15kg/20kg Hybrid, 20kg Powerlifting, or 15kg/20kg Needle-bearing barbell.

    Good investment - one thing have to be mindful of is the grip it can rip your hands of your not careful. Overall its a mean bar to workout with!

    Love this barbell to have at home - not using it to max out, but rather for technique and WODs for crossfit. Highly recommend as a good value for money bar.
