About the Solid Strength 20kg Intro Olympic Barbell V2(Mens)

Since 2010, we've sold 100's of these barbells to commercial gyms, CrossFit affiliates, high schools, garage gyms, and more as entry level bars. While these are not the ideal barbell for Olympic lifting, only serious lifters will feel the difference.

Most barbells at this price point are hand-knurled, resulting in an inconsistent finish. Our Intro barbells are knurled using a computer-controlled machining process. This results in the most uniform and consistent knurling possible which means a more comfortable and reliable grip and better performance for you!

If you're doing Olympic lifts with bumpers around 100kg or less, these bars will survive being dropped. For slow, compound lifts like squats or deadlifts they're good to 220kg. If you're planning to consistently lift above 220kg, we suggest you upgrade to our 15kg/20kg Hybrid, 20kg Powerlifting, or 15kg/20kg Needle-bearing barbell.

Barbell Specs:

• Grip: 28mm, Weight: 20kg, Length: 2200mm (7ft)
• Max capacity 700lb
• Crosshatch knurling (medium), NO centre knurl
• Chrome shaft and sleeve
• 2 high quality brass bushes per sleeve

Great quality product, the knurling is great, not too sharp but not non-existent. Great team definitely would recommend getting the weight clips they have to go with the bar. Highly recommend this Company

Thankyou. Although it missed arriving in time for a xmas present, my daughter is thrilled with the 20kg olympic barbell. I am on the committee at our local sportsclub gym and will recommend for our future purchases.

Bearings are smooth. Nice knurling with the central knurling being great for squats. Great quality for the price.
