Our Solid Strength 15kg Stubby Barbell is an awesome addition to a compact home or commercial gym, competition floor, or kids/teens fitness classes! Coming in at just 1830mm in length, this compact barbell still has an Olympic standard 1320mm shaft which means it can still be racked on standard sized squat racks. It features a 28mm diameter shaft, dual knurl markings, and no centre knurl. The knurling is a high-quality diamond pattern that provides good grip without being rough on your hands. The shaft and sleeve are finished with a sleek black e-coating.

The shorter length of our rackable stubby bar makes it ideally suited for CrossFit or functional fitness competitions where space is at a premium. You can still load your bar with a decent amount of weight and move safely and efficiently in tight spaces. This bar is also perfect for home or garage gyms where maximising space is crucial. Additionally, it's an excellent choice for kids or teens fitness classes (or anyone wanting a lighter bar), as the shorter, lighter option is ideal for these age groups.

Another green tick for this bar is its robust construction. The shaft has a tensile strength of 200,000 PSI, which means its strength far exceeds the amount of weight you can load onto it! Brass bushings in the sleeves ensure a reliable, smooth spin, enhancing your lifting experience.

Our stubby barbell is finished with a black E-coating on both the shaft and sleeves. E-coating (or electro-coating) is a process that involves applying a thin, durable layer of paint through an electrochemical process.
