I'm glad these type of Parallettes are sold in NZ. PVC pipes and fittings to purchase and the make is quite the expense. Quick to purchase and great quality these Solid Strength Parallettes. Very ideal for those who would use them to train and train others.

Solid bars
Very strong and solid feeling parallettes, they were the cheapest I could locate in Auckland, I've only had them for a few days but I like them, requires a small amount of assembly without instructions but basically if you have a wrench or even better torque wrench you'll have no difficulties putting it together in 10 minutes (just put the flat washer and split washer over the screw, on top of each other under the nut). I can't imagine homemade ones PVC pipe ones (which I was thinking about trying to make) feeling anywhere near as strong as these, although I'm sure they also do the job. Glad I got them, will be very good for my upper body strength. I also find I can lie on one of them an use it to massage my mid and lower back, hits the trigger spots in a different way to a lacrosse ball and spiky roller (both of which I have).

Try something new
I researched parallettes and found the Solid Strength parallettes to be the best value for money. Upon recieving them, other than a minor amount of assembly I am impressed. Great height, solid construction and easy to use. If you want to spice up your training give them a go.
